I am neither a connoisseur, nor a restaurant critic.. however I want to share with you the amazing experience I had at Veeraswamy today. The fact that it was free, perhaps made the food all the more tasty. I do love my deals after all, well its what I do for a living!

Starting from a simple tomato soup, which had a perfect dash of mint and something else, to the grilled paneer starter it was all impeccable. The main courses took the cake away though – stuffed koftas and paneer makhani, probably the best I have ever had. After the first bite of the kofta, I was wondering if this is for real! But.. it got even better.. dessert.. mango sorbet. Not like any other mango sorbet, this had a taste of real mangoes.. like they really took alphansos for this, thick and sweet. And it was all for free, damn right it was!
